St. Martha's Ministry:

St. Martha's Ministry is a bereavment ministry which consists of a group of volunteers from the church that attend funerals, especially small funerals, to give support for the families. We have a telephone chain when we need to contact members. When a member of our church passes away the person in charge of the ministry is called by someone from the church office. That person calls the next person the list and so on to inform the members of the funeral arrangements. This ministry gives support to the family and to the clergy at small funerals where there are few people in attendance, especially catholics.
